Pianist Hyojeong Ham has been a collaborative pianist for many choirs since her teenage’s. The choir she accompanied won numerous competitions including a silver prize at the Busan Choir Olympics, 2nd prize at the 18th Festival (Youth Choir of China’s Harbin International Children’s Choir).

Her performance as a choir collaborative pianist included the 15th China’s 2nd Jinan International Choral Festival at the Shandong Grand Theater Opera Hall, 1st International 'Anik Tai' Song Festival with 'Jacques Mercier' from France many others.

She has also worked as a pianist for several civic choirs in South-Korea and has worked with many professional choir conductors. She has experience working as a pianist in a choral conducting department that trains emerging choral conductors, and working with conductors in recitals each semester for their master‘s and doctoral degrees in choral conducting. She worked in the Department of Vocal Music‘s Choir classes, Italian Dictions classes, German Diction classes, Contemporary Literature, Opera Workshop classes, and Oratorio classes. Here is a repertoire of full productions of operas she has worked on and performed: 'Le nozze di Figaro', 'Madama Butterfly', 'Così fan tutte', 'Il barbiere di Siviglia', and 'Carmen', ‘Street Scene’, ‘L’incoronazione Poppea."

In the summer of 2022, 2023, she has been chosen as a collaborative piano fellow at the CMI(Classical Music Institute) Summer Festival in San Antonio, Texas. In particular, in 2023, she performed with CMI and the OSA(OPERA San Antonio) for the first time, working as a vocal piano fellow, and performed more than 20 times, including a tour of South-Texas.

In June of this year, she was selected as a ‘2024 CLA France Artist’ of Classical Lyric Arts, which explores and performs French art songs and arias in France. In July for the second consecutive year, she expanded her educational activities by performing as an accompanist at the SFA Big Choir Camp and teaching and performing as a fellow at the SFA Summer Piano Institute.

She had been working as a Graduate Assistant majoring in Piano Performance for her master's degree at Stephen F. Austin State University under Dr. Minhae Lee.

   Currently, she is pursuing a Graduate Diploma in Collaborative Piano with a Vocal Specialization (Opera emphasis) at the New England Conservatory of Music under the guidance of Cameron Stowe and Joel Ayau. She is actively engaged in various areas, particularly within the Opera Department. She also serves as the principal pianist of the NEC Symphonic Choir and as a staff pianist for the NEC Preparatory School, where she additionally works as a Teaching Fellow for the Vocal Theater Lab in the Expanded Education division. In this capacity, she collaborates closely with faculty and young singers, providing coaching and accompaniment across a wide range of musical styles.

   Beyond NEC, she serves as a Choir Pianist at Boston College High School and Lexington Christian Academy. In the summer of 2025, she worked as a Vocal Collaborative Pianist and Music Director for Opera Scenes at the Interlochen Center for the Arts (ICA) during the summer music camp.
